lamo and they thought they had problems with bikes running from cops now.....
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

they're gunna have a lot more bikes running
a lot more high speed crashes
a lot more fatality accidents

way to go

That's fucking ridiculous.. I bet their 'motorcycle problem' is going to double if this law ever gets passed. Definitely going to create more people running as far as I see it.

http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Secti...ocumentType=Bill&BillNumber=0137&Session=2008

its not passed yet but its in legislation. trying to be in effect by 10/08

30+mph over limit or reckless driving (which is always cops discretion) will get your bike impounded, you taken to jail, and youll lose your license for 10 yrs.....on first offense

drunk drivers and drug smugglers dont get hit that hard

they say that even riding one handed could be considered reckless, however anyone thats ever ridden a bike will say different.
the worst part is that a cop could just say you were being reckless and thats that.

i think its the other way around. lets see you do a wheelie on your bikes.

i know i can do them on my 750. all day long.

a wheelie on my 600, or the 1200 ? Because both can do it, wtf ?

I think that this sort of thing has happened a lot before, where something becomes a problem, so they're extreme laws put against it with extreme punishments, thinking that it'll fix it. IMO, it just seems like more people are gonna run from the cops, and more people are gonna get hurt, or end up dead. They did this at my highschool, of course on a much lower level, but with electronics. "No electronics, ex: phones, ipods, cd players, etc. will be allowed on your person at any time other than entry to the building and exit of the building." So what did everyone do? Fought with all the staff when they'd get caught. The suspension rate skyrocketed, and so did the dropout rate.

along with their legislation to ban fun activities from the streets, they should be forced to provide a place where bikers can practice stunt riding, sort of like skateparks but for motorcycles.

Good for you.... Even a 250 can pull a wheelie.

Wanna talk about carzy, last time I had my bike out I did a full throttle run up into forth gear, 1st 2nd and 3rd pulled up on me even while I was laying fully down on the bike. fun stuff!

I wouldn't want something that big and deadly rearing up on me like a rabid horse.

No way. I'm there for a ride, not to impress pedestrians and zombies.

I've heard that South FL is getting bad with legislation. Theres a movie by IMV films "The Vice of Bad People" on Youtube that profiles how the local sherrif has gone Nazi on his particular county.

dont know if you guys have ever heard of M.I Xtremes which is a stunt team out of merrit island florida, but the founder(who was like a brother to me) died stunting..IMO this law is actually a good law..yea it will cause more problems in the future, but i guess im just tryig to say,,keep it safe..
R.I.P Carl Oehler-i miss ya bro
