ok soo many of you know i just completed my minime swap into my 91 civic si(hatch)now i have an offer already for the car(i wasnt intending on selling) and this guy i know is selling an 89 civic and a 94 civic(both hatch) soo my question is what should i do..sell my car for 1200..and buy either the 89 hatch for 1200 or the 94 hatch for 800..all have titles and are legit

my car-91 civic si .gay ass ricer taillights,stupid blitz bodykit,tinted windows,haloprjector headlights,intake,exhaust,minmeswap(a6block z6 head) car was

his car-89 civic..dohc zc motor(turbod)exhaust,enkie rims(jdm)crx front end and some other little goodies

his car(again) 94 civic hatch.fresh rebuilt d16a6..rear disk brakes,clean shell(no rust)front integra brakes and some other random shit
 
1. why not just keep your car???
2. if you want something older, i guess you could go for the turbo ZC, but check out the quality of the turbo set up, make sure the turbo has minimum shaft play. check the compression on the car, and ask his maintance shcedual on it, anything more than 3k oil change i wouldnt take it. preferably 2k. Also consider the conditon of the 89
3. get a newer car that id hope looks better it being newer and all, and have a fresh platform to play with.

the guy has 6 hondas at his house..hes got a kid on the way..and hes got 3 cars for sale...he owns a 501 whp civic soo im pretty sure hes not gonna fuck me over..the car looks clean as hell in the pix..but i might be going to look st it friday...
 
IMO buying someone elses turbod car is looking for trouble. unless you know the person, and the kind of work they do, you don't know what you're getting.
 
ok well the guy works at a shop and they build drag cars..he built his own car...the guy that did the pink turbo,valve cover and everything and put it in the copperish eg....they have a bunch of turbo cars soo i think he does good work
 
hmm good idea...i just dont know what to do yet..i like the si alot...but yet this car is turbod and cheap..and the other car is in better condition than my si is
 
tell him I'll give him $800 cash right now for the 94...as in 1:00 pm kinda now....if he drives it down to Meriden for me to look at.
 
it has no motor in it now and wont have one till saturday or sunday....im trying to decide what i want..now a kid wants to trade my ricer shit for oem shit..soo i might keep my car afterall
 
I would be buying the turbo'd car. Its the only one that can get out of its own way.

You've basically ruined and bastardrized your car, sell it when there's a ricer willing to buy it.

i didnt do shit to this car...my brother bought it from a guy like 6mnths ago with the bodykit and all the rice shit...he had plans to fix the motor then put oem parts on it to make it a sleeper...he got fed up with the car in the process of fixing the motor...sold it to me..i have ads posted everywhere for oem or mugen style bumpers,and stock tails...i hate rice..
