Well all, i'm new to this forum but have been loving the EG shape since first owning one in 1998.

What i want to know is does anyone has any experience converting an EG to RWD using the S2000 engine and running gear. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

I'm only interested in this at the moment as I sold my evo3 engine fwd colt. With the rx7 taking so long to get finished I was thinking of doing another hybrid only with my first love Honda.

This is the colt by the way

Can you fabricate and weld? Do you have a shit ton of money to spend? Because that's what it's gonna take...

By the way, I hate that cardomain EG with the S2000 swap. He spent all that money putting the motor and RWD setup in it, and then gayed it up with a body kit, dubs, and about 1,000 lbs worth of speakers and fiberglass. I suppose if you're into show cars it's really cool, but I definitely wouldn't have gone that directions with it...

If i take on the build I have alot of contacts in motorsport who can help me out however I was looking for some personal experience from here. The best advice you can ever get is from someone has travelled this road before.

If I built it i'd rather a street sleeper, maybe an SiR lip kit and JDM Spoiler and thats it exterior wise except for the 4 to 5 stud conversion necessary for the brakes and wheels. Something like this :

Just waiting on the price for a crashed S2k now off a honda dismantler. I'd want it for more than just the shock factor, would be great to see how it performed on the track in time attack.

Price for what, are you waiting on a quote from someone, or our guess as to what it would cost?

There's someone on here selling a totalled s2k, it was hit from the rear and I believe that the engine was fine...I actually thought about buying it for a future project but just don't have the cash right now. It'd be a good start, search around in the vehicles for-sale forum
