is waiting for summer
Its hard to search for the right post for this. I have a 90 civic hatch with a b18a1 swap. Im looking for the correct suspension for the front & rear. Front control arms rear control arms. Mostly the right spring rate fro the front because of the added weight of the new motor. Thanx for all the well needed help.

get the energy suspension master kit.

a good set of springs: tein, skunk2. etc.
dont know the sring rate, but whichever company you decide to go for should know.

or you could do an integra suspension. swap everything from a teggy into your hatch.

I would agree swap the integra suspension that is the best way to ensure your success with a suspension setup on a car with a swapped motor.

Also, Progress makes springs that are designed specifically to address this issue. Look them up on Hasport's web site (Hasport Performance, Inc.). I think they drop about 2 inches. They're not even horribly expensive either.

Thanx for all the help. I thought about swaping the teg parts but i think it was eibach that shot me down with that idea. I will look into all your suggestions to help me find the best one that suits me. I forgot to mention that basicly this car will be a 1/4 mile car. So does that change any of your suggestions? What about the front upper and lower control arms?

doesn't really change my suggestion except that eliminates some of the parts you would need neccesarily. but good luck man. it will be a fun car.

eibach shot you down? i dont get it.

the rear ones can be found easily. blox racing is good for cheap. or skunk2. etc,

the front lower control arms, you wont find, just change the bushing.
like i said, get the energy suspension master kit. nice hard polyurethane bushings, to replace the busted ass ones on there. you will def feel the dif.

and i would go with the teggy suspension. i believe they have a little bit of a bigger brake set up. and a rear disc conversion would be good too. drum ftl.

as for the front upper arms, if your looking for a camber kit, id go skunk2 camber kit. its the whole control arm and ball joint. i used an ingalls kit and regret it. the damn thing hardly fits under the car once you lower it. i had to make a notch for it to stop hitting my frame. go skunk2 for that.

I have plans to do rear disc conversion for sure but just dont know where to begin. I'll definetly look into doing the teg swap. I need bigger brakes anyways. Im still very new to all this and there is alot to take in when trying to figure out what & where to begin & what is what & so on. I do appreciate all the help you guys are giving. I want this project to go off without a hitch with as lil problems as possible. This car is my daily driver right now as my other car is getting much needed winterizing as possible. I dont feel like driving this in the snow with too much power. I'll save that for my caprice. Any additional help would be great as I am a NooB with this. Thanx again all of you.

I guess i basically need to do research and track down parts and order them up. Thats what ive been doing the last few hours now. Basically, a just dont know.

for the rear conversion you need the whole trailing arm assembly from a DA teggy. and the e brake cables. cant forget those.
and most people suggest the master cylinder and proportioning valve as well.
