B18b1 Swap Into 95 Civic

I am trying to put a b18b1 into my 95 civic i have the engine tranny and ecu what else do i need and what should i know about doing this swap also i has a gsr vtec head what do i need to make it work on this block

Axles, shiftlinkage and mounts/mount brackets (from the integra)

hi, i am also wanting to do this conversion and i have a b18b1 from a '96 integra with auto. i am getting a '94 civic dx auto and want to keep it auto. i know all the parts i need for the swap, but for the OBD conversion harness would it have to be an OBD2A-OBD1A or which one exactly would i need for this?

For future reference, it's better to just start a new thread than bring back one from a year ago.

Anyway, there isn't really an "OBD1A", it's just OBD1. So you'll need a conversion harness that goes from OBD2A to OBD1. And I hope you know that the Civic's transmission won't bolt up to the B18. You'll need a B-series transmission as well.

Since you need a new tranny anyway, this would be a good opportunity to convert to manual, if that's something that interests you. I would encourage it actually, because the LS auto transmission is an absolute turd.

If you insist on keeping it automatic though, then you'll need to to let whoever makes your conversion harness know that they're working with an auto tranny.

You will not need a conversion harness at all. Use all the components from the b18 and the b18 wiring harness will plug right into your existing "tower plugs" and will run on any Automatic obd1 ecu. It'd be best to find an obd1 p75 AUTO (LS) ecu.
