spoon sports makes a b16a, b16b, b18c and a f20c but i dont know if thers any thing special about it . look at spoonsports.us

I'm not sure if you can literally "buy" a Spoon engine.

To me a Spoon engine is your basic b16a/whatever honda motor you have but just all completely rebuilt with Spoon Sports parts?

No, they actually do build complete engines. They're very pricey. Hector's running 3 Civics at Race Wars this year, all with Spoon Engines, T66 turbos, NOS, and MoteC System exhausts...

lmao at the f&f quote

Guess he got tired of being too slow to get away with the money he's holding for the races lol.

it's not like they sold you and engine its what they do on them..
spoon used the same structured engine room as s2000 it was used in civic type B, to provide a higher horsepower engine to type B also a higher revolving rate engine it was produced to meet this needs to what extent could this engine goes to? 10,000 could go no problem, its was the newest weapon of NA tune’s high revolving rate the spoon block blade , civic type r just needs to release the restricted program it could really reach above 9000 but the horsepower could not reach because the action of the spark plug and head could not operate normally because of vibration, so as to eliminate the vibration black blade is being used to assist it this is improved for the sake of shock-absortion that it is the same theory of increasing body solidness, if you test the spoon since this black blade is installed the rev go 11000 confirmed, And that was because usually NA could only increase horsepower, or to increase emition, this two type of method spoon sport used, and they decide to focus on high revolutionary rate…smooth rolling,, because the horsepower at 11,00 is wider the change of speed at shift up could be maintained at sufficient hp,

Spoon Sports

apparently $7085 but they dont say what they did to make it cost that much

As far as just being a stock engine with parts thrown at it would be absurd to think. SPOON sports puts alot of R&D into there products. But then again, I do feel alot of the products SPOON offers are over hyped. To answer the original question, a SPOON engine is just that... an engine "built" by SPOON.

CALESTA; Spoon and Fork motorsports are in a joint effort to create a revolutionary performance engine. Check it.

dont forget johnny tran's running two nissan sr20s in his integra and civic:ph34r:

*UPDATE* I just talked to one of the rep.'s over at SPOON. They said they are abandoning all ties with FORK Ind. Inc. and has sold the pattents to KFC. The SPOON/Fork developed products will be given away with every value meal and/or " Famous Bowl".

All jokes aside, I don't see where it would be lucrative to own a SPOON built engine for those prices. I am kinda attached to their MOONCRAFT hard top though. I think the ol' S2K would look sick with one.
