HELP ls engine swap in a 90 crx

i blew a piston ring in my 1.5 crx and now i want to swap the engine and i talked with some guy and he said that an acura ls engine and tranny will drop right in and blot up and wire right up. is that true? if thats is true what else would i need to get it all running right?

the 90 and up Integra LS B18 engine and transmission will not bolt right into your CRX - you would need an aftermarket mount kit, shift linkage and axles in order to install it - you would also need to convert your wiring from DPFI to MPFI - you would need the engine transmission and ECU from the Integra

now what is the best engine to use in a crx that will just bolt right up and wire up besides dpfi to mpfi but also give it more hp a little bit?

Well for that matter a D16A6 will bolt right up no problem, as well as any other D-series motors.

But on the wire right up part, som motors need a few wiring modifications depending on the motor you choose.

dont forget the hubs.... alot of ppl tend to leave those out of the swap lol

i would personally swap in a D15b.... decent lil motors and they tend to take some abuse, then slap on a lil snail

id do a minime swap or just put a d16z6...or look at the sohc zc(it has vtec)
