got a 95 integra sedan nonvtec wat are are some suggestion on wat to do to it? idk if i should just drop a k20 in it but thats pretty pricey or should i just buy a vtec head?

drop a vtec head. but it wont make that much difference if you leave the stock ls pistons in it.
 
just put a GSR in it. Its not too expensive but it pretty big on horsepower. And the motor is made for that car so the swap will take next to no work.

nope b18c1. I had one in my 90 integra and she hauled some ass. Normal price for a GSR with tranny, ecu, harness, and all that jazz is about $2800 to $3200. Cheaper than a K!

drop some Si pistons or ctr pistons in ur ls block, get a gsr head and it will be a lot faster than a stock gsr and it will cost you about a third of the price of getting a gsr engine.

i wouldnt go with a gsr head... a pr3 head is way way better... they can take just about anything u throw at them.... i have ls/vtec myself with jdm b16 pistons and a pr3 head... and it hauls beats gsr's all day long... and it un-tuned...
 
Or you could just turbocharge your stock motor and you'll be faster than even a stock K.

I got a stock D series 125hp vtec all I'm doing is turbo kit and tune for 200 hp at the wheels. That'll beat most swaps and that's just my goal it could still be tuned to 250 WHP later on without forged internals.

if you are gonna build the head then it will be pointless to go with a pr3 head... but if you wanna leave it stock then the pr3 is ur best bet. the gsr head has the highest compression of all the b-series heads, followed by the pr3, b16, n then the ls head. Therefore if you just wanna put better cams and leave the internals stock go with the pr3 but good luck finding one for under $900. If you are building the head, that is port and polish, titanium retainers, dual spring, and some good cams (sk2 stg 2 or 3) the gsr head is the way to go.

you can find all this parts on ebay.
ps: si pistons are the stock pistons from the b16a2, you can also find them on ebay used and new, but you can also get the ctr pistons new for about the same price. remember the higher the compression the more power you'll make....
 
a pr3 head is a jdm b16a head... i have 2 of them... trust me they are 10 times better than a gsr head.... port n polish it and duel springs and u pretty much got urself a type-r head... and 900 bucks... what the hell are u talking about???? outrages... i wouldnt pay no more than 450 for one.... but if u do ls/vtec its gonne take some rebuilding...

ps: ls/vtechatch swap ur head for a gsr head and then tell me which one gets more power..... you talk because u have a pr3 head but you never had a gsr head with ur setup. ... . i have two friends with ls/vtecs, one with a pr3 head, and another with a gsr head, guess who takes who? gsr baby all day...by far too. i talk because ive seen it/driving it, not because i heard it or had only one of them.
 
ive rode in both types of motors too dumbass... i do know what im talking about.. the only good thing about gsr heads is that they have a smaller combustion chamber.... other than that there shit... u said 900 for a pr-3 head..... i said port and polish a b16 and duel springs u got urself pretty much a type-r head... wich is way better than a gsr head... i know... ive done tons and tons of research before i started my build wich i have close to 4500 into it right now... so ya...
 
gsr head still better than a pr3.... $4500 invested? must have a nice setup. i'm well over 8k right now.
 
in a gsr???? that u dont even know how to do a wiring harness.... i bet lol

i knew u were gonna say that..... it's actually in my EG with an LS fully built engine. you'll see it this year in the cover of import tuner. it should be out around august.
