Omg that poor, poor integra...the white one looks NICE tho!

By the way I'm coming from the same direction started working when I was 12 saving up for my ride now I'm rollin in the '93 civic 4-door I bought with the JDM d15b vtec I swapped in mostly myself. No help from parents and I can't stand spoiled kids 16 workin full time and in highschool. I'm setting the Ferio up for drifting mostly.

Now to business lol, to be honest the eg would have been easier to swap a gsr into it's the easiest platform for D and B series swaps. I could help you a lot more if you were dealing with an eg..but I know you'd need the motor and tranny of course and the correct ecu for the GSR, which you can research this site for. Do a lot of research...then ask questions. You might need to take the shift linkage from the integra also, and possibly the axels. That's about it, take the wiring harness too. There's more I'm sure but not entirely, I've only done a straight D2D swap in my eg. Search, search, search, especially look up articles in the Hybrid, EG-EK section that this thread is in.

thanks for the help... this project should start in spring.... right now its hibernating =]... i'll just ask along the way, thanks again

Manual swap would be easier and cheaper assuming that the wrecked gsr is a manual as well.
To swap the b18 in a ek you need
-motor
-trans
-gsr shift linkage
-gsr axles
-preferably new gsr axle seals
-if the ek has ac and you want to keep it you have to buy either a b20 ac bracket or a 96 del sol ac bracket, i'm not sure exactly which one.....
-rear tranny mount from a 99-00 civic si 50827-S04-N10(honda part number)
-drivers side mount bracket from a 99-00 civic si 11910-P30-000

if the ek is 96-98 you have to have a civic wiring harness from a 96-98 and you'll have to run some wires
if the ek is 99-00 you have to have a civice wiring harness from a 99-00 and you'll have to run some wires
It would be alot easier to at least get an ex harness, or if the ek you want to buy is a 99-00, an si harness. Then you don't have to run vtec or do a couple harness fixes.

The integra wiring harness won't work in a EK.

Won't the engine mounts from the GSR work in the ek??

I'd take the brakes from the gsr too. Rear disc conversion.

Pretty much everything from the gsr will work on the ek so its a straight forward swap.

thanks... thats a lot of help and of course the wrecked gsr is manual ;P

and now that u mention the a/c.... im thinking of not putting 1 to go lightweight... but i havnt seen any EK hatch with power windows... that means im gonna die in the summer trying to open and close it all the time >_<.... what do u guys think?... is it worth the risk?

Not for nothin, but that white integra looks just like the wrecked integra with painted wheels, body work/kit and a paint job. =/

Don't pickup an auto ek. Too much work. Get one that is standard(manual).
