D15b swap from d16y8 HELP!!!!

I just bought a d15b 3 stage vtec and I have a 97 del sol (d16y8) and I am planning on swapping it, but I am not sure what I need to rewire or change, I am planning to use most of the sensors off the D16 and pray they fit and work also I am not sure how to do the vtec hook up to my ecu anyone have good knowladge who can help me out give me even obvious stuff because thats what always gets missed thanks

ok, everything will line up fine...mounts, shift linkage ets. youll need to get a obd1 to obd2 wiring harness for your new ecu...if you didnt get the new ecu...get one. Youll need a distributor wiring harness for a obd1 to obd2. Youll have to take the injector wire plugs from the new engine and wire them to the wires that are on your car.(cut the ones of your car that are on there now and replace it with the new ones from your motor). Your axles will be just fine....um.....i believe thats it.

your going from obd2 to obd1..thats why you need to do the re-wiring, theres going to be a few sensors not needed with this swap...so dont be alarmed when you go to hook up your wiring to the new motor.....dont rememer if you car was vtec or not but you may have to wire in the vtec to the new ecu. You can find the ecu pinouts online..i forgot what ones they are. I just recently put a d15b in my 98 civic.....it went ok, need any more help just ask.

ok so I got it swapped and everything went smooth I just need to wire up the first stage of vtec anyone know a 5 volt on ing wire that I could use
