D14B Engine?

I just bought a 93 Del Sol, VTEC was blown and replaced with a D14B per the owner. I can not find any reference to a D14B engine? Where is the tagging on the engine? How can I determine what is under my hood?

It is always stamped inbetween the transmission's bell housing and the engine block, on the engine block in the front.

Is the D15B a Good thing?

Well, we know its vtec. If it run's, its definately a good thing.

All it has is D15B with a number beneath it. 6 or t 7 digits, probably some type of serial number?

as long as theres no number right after the b15b then its a good motor,,jdm d15b vtec 130hp
