i have a 92 civic cx hb with a b16a2 running a p30 ecu. i did the swap myself about 6 months ago.when it first starts it will bogg down if i give it too much gas.after its running and warmed up it drives fine and when its already warm i dont have a starting problem at all. and the cold makes it worse it took me 12 mins to start my car yesterday.any suggestions would be greatly appeciated. oh yeah no other mods just short ram intake thats it i have to figure this out first.

Check your temp sensor...

Could be your crankshaft position sensor as well. That's what my problem was when my car was doing the same thing.

another guy pmed me and said if i was still using the same battery that i was using with the original motor i might need to change to one with more amps. and he told me to check my grounds too. the grounds ive checked and all are hooked up. what do yall think about this battery thing. i personally dont think it would matter in my case

IACV. Probably not because it will bogg down. It will have no effect on the on throttle operation. If that was your problem it would fire up and run fine but just not idle.

Don't listen to that moron about the battery needing more amperage, thats just plain stupidity. If you look at the CCA rating on your stock battery and compare it to the spec's on the 99-00 civic si, they are the same.

last time i was at the shop they said my check engine light wasnt working. i dont know im letting them look at it. hopefully they'll just fix it
