EG swap obd2>1 sensors etc swap theory

My head is spinning from about an hour of searching that answered some of my questions but alas I still have questions that need answers; so please bare with me; This is all relative to what I will be doing in actuality but to save a lot of explanation and useless rhetoric. I understand how repugnant the concept of what I am asking may be to you but just trust that it is for good reason and I will explain after one or some of you guru's gives me some info.

If I were to be swapping an LS engine into an EG using an OBD2 ('B' to be specific) wiring harness jumpered down to OBD1 what are my options?

*I HAVE TO use a PR4 manifold for clearance issues so I need to know what sensors I will need- can I used the obd1 sensors from the manifold, will the clip into the harness without modification? since they are quite similar iirc. OR can/should I just use obd2 manifold electronics

* would it be more work than its worth to hack up the distributor and harness in order to use an obd1 distributor?

is there anything that I am forgetting other than injector clips/resistor box?
Please point out any holes in my theory and/or things I am leaving out.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I need to get my project moving!
once again, I realize that these questions might be a little redundant in this board but my searching produced little help.
thanks,
-zak

Just retain your original harness in the eg, and buy an obd1 ls ecu. Since the engine is obd2, you will also need obd1 injector clips and an obd1 distributor.
Some additional clip modifications may be needed, plugs etc.

It has to be an obd2 harness for a reason that I will explain in full but I don't want to divert attention away from what I NEED TO KNOW. The setup is similar to what it would be like in an EG that is why I set up that scenario; trust that the car is in fact not an EG so I am forced to combine very important strengths about each OBD style in order to suit my needs; being obd2 wiring doesn't need to connect to a chassis harness (civic obd2 harness), obd1 doesn't require the more extensive sensors as the obd2's emissions equipment, and the od1 is easily modified as well as reliable while being affordable

One question... why are you using an obd2b harness?? Is your old harness trash?

obd2b just for reference because that is what I have, it could, just as easily, be obd2a in theory.

The reason I was asking is because you said it was in an eg and an eg is obd1. In that case the stock harness could be retained and the engine could be converted to obd1. That would be MUCH less work.

alas it is not an EG, I stated the hypothetical scenario car as an EG because it would have the same focus requirements as my project. I am sure it would be much less work but that is not a feasible option to me but thanks for the interest.

Well we can't really help you out unless you stop talking like you are better then us (like an %$ if you ask me) and tell us what the eff you are doing.

I didn't want to bump the thread with this addition, but I figured some might want to know wtf I was doing and etc. just was looking for answers and came out wrong. sorry if I was rude and being so cryptic, I didn't think you all would understand exactly what I wanted to accomplish.

I finished my swap some time ago so let me fill you in on some of the details:
98% gutted of everything 86 civic that was originally carbureted so the original harness would be worthless to the swap, rather than fabbing a completely new harness between a newer honda and an 86-87 civic si, I just used the obd2a civic harness that just plugged straight to the ecu
obd2 b18b1/ys1 using obd2 wiring harness (btw I was wrong, it was an obd2A harness), jumped to obd1 p75- basically ALL stock parts other than the mounts/axles and jumper harness with the stock 142 hp if that

on yoko advan a048's spinning first and second, feathering ran 14.47 without much traction to speak of
YouTube - 14.47 run in the pig rod
thanks
