so far the only cool wheelchair car is the element on Ebay...

sorry, I got to plan for the future, but I also wanted to show this to a guy at work...his 16 year old daughter has cerebral palsy and my wife has multiple sclerosis so were looking for options and idea's. it's easier to post it than to email it to myself...plus, other people's input is also appreciated.

I do have an awesome vid of some stupid hot hooked up cars from options video that I'd love to share, but I'm not able to upload anything VHS on the net. RX-7 with tons of boost, and all hand operated....Skylines with a mouth controlled throttle.... shift by chin movements sort of set up...

japan just has better cars than us. it's a fact. the u.s. sucks.

Not bad. My uncle has a very nice wheelchair van, dvd players, etc, and he drives often.

My mom isn't quite wheel chair ridden yet, but two of my uncles are. (Acid Maltese Deficience). I have the disease but to a much lesser degree and so far it hasn't hindered my physical ability so I'm about 96% able to break down glycogen versus my mom's 9% ability to.

hrmmm..... I wonder.....

This might be a loophole to import something legally....

i am not judging at all, but with your signature and this quote i can see that you are someone who has a lot of thoughts, ideas and dreams that seem to equate to, eh, financial complications... i am only even commenting because i see this in myself. :) it is nice that you want to help, and the van looks f-ing elegant to boot...

Wait... are you saying that no one in the US creates a vehicle for a wheel chair?

nothing really pimp...just plain jane vans..:(

meh...I'm a 35 year old home owner...in CT...and my debt is actually doing pretty good...for what I got and own. Plus considering its a 15 year loan, which I plan to have paid off somehow in the next few years... 4 years ago, I only had $30,000 in debt.....and it's down to $24,000...mostly interest payments on a student loan...:(

The vehicle isn't MADE by Honda. It's modified with cool entry systems... in, you guessed it

The US.

Stop hating.

I know the Ebay one was done up by a company in the us, but the others are factory options in Japan...

As the US has had their offerings..

Dude, I'm only sayin. And while that RX7 crip-drift video was cool, there are loads of people out there building adaptors and kits (like Jyro stang.. out of DFW I think.. nice guy) to drive handicapped.
