ouch. that sucks. didn't really care for any of his movies, but it sucks he died.
 
Shitty, I viewed him as a pretty decent actor. I hope they finished filming for his part as the Joker in Batman: The Dark Knight, I was really looking forward to that.

i said the same thing, and all the chicks at work acted like im the one who killed him.

and they did, he was working on a different movie, and imdb has batman in post production.

i guess he isnt doing any call backs.

Funny that we have a thread about Heath Ledger and nobody's cracked any Brokeback jokes yet...

Anyway, I wonder if the Joker dies in Dark Knight? Otherwise they'll have to find somebody else again to play him in the next one.

He was a decent actor, I'll give him that...

And my roommates were in an uproar today about the new batman and if it will be finished, how they'll kill the joker, etc.
 
Ahahaha I love it. Who made those? They remind me of those gay poster they hang in schools...but way more badass. Now, these are the posters that really do teach you real life lessons, not just about integrity and honesty.

npr, film is finished and will be out this summer. yeah, it is surreal being close to the same age as him. this news oddly seems to fit in with the regular roller coaster of life, at least from my perspective. even when the world really seems to suck i can't imagine choosing death, and whether it was intentional or not it was definitely avoidable. 'every death is a form of suicide' -not sure who

yeah touchy subject on a predominately male forum... :laughs: i posted my previous before seeing the drugged out pictures. lesson for anyone still doing any of that shit and sitting around being paranoid and depressed. if you choose drugs (alcohol, caffeine, crystal, weed, coffee, whatever) it must be out of total respect, imo. :)

Shooting on the Dark Knight is already finished, it has been for quite a while. They've got a full-length trailer out for it already, and they've been playing the first six minutes of the movie before I Am Legend IMAX showings. At this point they're just finishing up all the post-production stuff. His death shouldn't effect the movie in any way.
