I have to replace the pgm relay under the dash and I don't have a Manual. Does anyone know where its located under the steering column? I have a 91 civic hatch dx with a ls vtec. Also does anyone know how many prongs are on thud one for my car I need to know so I can get the part after work so I don't have to drive home pull the relay and go to the parts store

Try to find a relay from a junkyard, brand new they'll cost you around $50 even for an older Civic at least around here anyway. I got mine from a junkyard when mine went bad, and I only paid $5 for it along with some spare fuses I pulled with it.

Thanks guys I figured they were the same but the lady at the auto parts store asked how many prongs and added confusion for me.

I was never able to find them at an auto parts store. Just go to Honda to get one. You do not have to remove the hood release, atleast I never did. If you search and are good with a soldering iron there is a way to fix yours.

i told him how in his other thread on the same topic....

I replaced the relay and still had the same problem then checked all the sensors it ended up being a wire that came loose on the back of the intake manifold connected to the green sensor idle air control valve I believe. The wiring sucks from whoever did it.
