I'm way too pissed off to write much.

The replaced headlight does not have the adjustment motor for headlight-tilt.
The bumper has gaps around the grille, fenders, hood, and headlights.
The left side of the hood is not flush with the fender.

That's with the hood closed.

Can't. Insurance covered the repair, so I get to take it up with them. I have a feeling that they used US-spec stuff, and not euro-spec.

then just send it over here and demand the insurance company to redo it. we both win!

they more than likely used non-Honda parts which is why the stuff doesnt fit together well. you shoulda taken it to the Honda dealership if you wanted the parts to fit right and genuine Honda parts.

yep, thats aftermarket parts.
they will never fit right. the body shop used those to save some money and make some off of your insurance company.

id fight the shit out of it.
it also looks like the hood hinges may have been bent a little in the accident, and they didnt bother to replace them. those would have a big impact on the hood fitting correctly.

fight the man.

Oh I'm fucking pissed now. I hadn't really looked at the passenger side that much. I just noticed that they de-badged it.

I'm bringing it back to them on Monday. I'm going to have to take off of work to do it, so I'm not going to be happy when I get there. I just hope they'll fix it, and I won't have to get the insurance company involved.

EDIT: In the second picture, you can see that they cared enough to not remove the shipping/part-number label.

i'm with the other guys. my first thought is that they used aftermarket parts rather than oem parts. you got fucked homey. i would request receipts for the parts that they used.

you are going to have to work it out and it will take a long time. unless you really like the car or know 100% you can get your money back, i would just sell it.

Why did you take it home? My brothers A4 was hit when it was parked, I had the cars fender and drivers side door repainted THREE times till they get it right.

@Jeffie7: Yeah, my dad's '03 civic was hit by a deer, three weeks after he bought it. Long story short: It's been painted 12 or so times.

@get_nick: I don't know if I could even get 1/2 of what it's worth with it looking this bad. :(

i dunno about in germany, but here, that car's a lawsuit waiting to happen. kick some ass. don't settle for that shite.

Man fuck that shit, make for damn sure you get your money back on that half-assed (my bad I think I mean quarter-assed) rig.

I hope I don't have that kind of trouble when I take my car into a body shop...that's about what mine looks like but I bought it that way (16, first car so I'm happy). My hood doesn't sit right it's way off from the headlights and the bumper/fenders, the lights aren't even on right, the hood has a fake ass type R emblem on it, and it sucks ass.

No, but I work for the US Government over here as a civilian.
that should be an easy one then. i would talk to a commander or someone in charge of the people there on the base. when the government has an issue, they get it taken care of very easily.

agreed.. one looks to be a projector headlight and the other is a regular one.. .. :shrug2:
what fucking shop does that shit thinking the owner wont notice???

step 1: call insurance company and tell them about what happened.
step 2: tell someone on the government base so they can blacklist that shop from all u.s. personnel.

that is beyond fucked up. that is illegal and scamming. contact your insurance and get a lawyer ready.

Umm. He had a HID retrofit. I doubt any body shop is going to replace a headlight with another HID retrofitted unit.
