i want prep my car for paint what type of sandpaper do i need to use?

Sandpaper is a lot of work. I sanded the spraypaint off my bumper covers this weekend with the old fashioned block. Holy crap what a pain. Fine detail maybe, huge tracts of land no way. I´m gonna borrow my fathers compressor and do it that way from now on.

Wax on Wax off, fuck that!!! Use a power sander...

Course i´m hardly a body guy im just bitter...

b/c i tryed it it it doesnt take off anything i used the 120 and it came out just jine ima use the 320 as i finish up. pics with be up soon

if your use 120, you are going to put gashes in the metal and the paint wont come out evenly. use 320 then a 4xx whatever it is.

if you are lazy, it is going to look like shit and cost you money in the future.

320 is what needs to be used,,you dont take the paint off all you do its scuff it, you only need to take it to the metal, where rust spots are

I have been sanding my jet ski for about a 5 days now for a few hours a day and I missed yesterday and it is alot of work be ready, if you are doing a car good luck with that I have a new respect for auto body people (not that I didn't before though). Anyways listen to these guys and use the 320grit.
