hey guys im new to the eg scene... but i now quite a bit about ef's, what im gettin at is what all is neccesary in order to swap a gsr into a 93 civic dx

i pretty much all the main necessities becuase i did plenty of research on the b16 swap into an ef, i just wannted to find out a little bit on the swap

basically i need to know if the axels from a gsr will work on the hatch, along with the shift linkage, and what motor mounts will i need to use? is there a specific genereation gsr motor i should swap in (as in being the least complicated/ most compatible), the eg's are obd1 correct? so i will need an obd1 gsr?

idk i just need some help

Perhaps the members here are tired of answering the same questions over and over again when the answers can easily be found by searching or reading articles in the reference section...

very true, this swap threads are all over.. but anyways..

use your B series mounts, GSR mounts. and your rear T bracket.
You can use any OBD1 manual ECU, if its not for a GSR, pay your local shop to socket it and chip it for you.
yes, your GSR linkage.
if you buy a obd1 gsr with harness already on, its plug and play, if you buy a motor from a different obd, all you do is transfer over harness/sensors.

its not hard. its as simple or more simple than swapping a Ef, ive done both, and swapping a ej8 was the simplest out of them all.
