I HAVE A 90 INTEGRA WITH A B18A1 I THINK THAT IT IS OBD1 CORECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT THE POINT IS I FOUND A 95'S INTRGRA MOTOR WHICH IS A B18B1 AND OBD1. NOW IF ANY BODY OUT THERE COULD HELP ME OUT I NEED TO KNOW IF MY 5 SPEED TRANNY WILL BOLT RIGHT UP TO THE B18B1 AND SOME COMPUTER HELP LIKE IF I WILL NEED TO CHANGE ANY THING ELES. HELP!

ok i have been told that my integra is obd0 but the references say that it is obd0 and obd1 how can i tell? it is a ls. and the tranny will bolt up to the motor but what about the wire ends are they compatable? Thanks

1990 and 91 are OBD0 and 92 and 93 are OBD1 that is all in the same gen. but that split them into two OBD ratings.

Peace*

dude theres 2 obd's for the earlier integra's

90-91 = obd0
92-93 = obd1

you dont need to check b/c we all know our stuff here:)

so no a b18b wont drop in, you must convert it to obd0 and the tranny you can still use a b18a tranny, or use the b18b and buy the hasport hydrolic to cable adapter.

Im not trying to secound guess any one but i know my stuff also and if you know for the 90-91 it is either obd0 or obd1 and i cant figure out which i have and the cable why would i not be abel to use mine??? dont get me wrong i need help i just have some questions

The one you are trying to put in there is hydro and yours is cable that's why you need the conversion to use it.

Peace*

Look guy,if your car is a 90 it is a OBD 0 motor. You can buy the B18B and change out the injectors and distributor from your B18A and bolt it up to your cable tranny and be all good.

OBD goes by years,NOT make and model...

91 and earlier = OBD 0

92-95 = OBD I

96+ = OBD II

99-00 Si and 00 for other models = OBD IIb

kanis serious the people on this forum no what they are talking about.....90-91integra is OBD0................. then came integra 92-93 which is OBD1....their u got it now very simple if you car is 93 and below for integra IT IS CABLE TRANSMISSION....................... 94+ IS HYDRUALIC...

ill say it very simple terms===== (90-91) integra OBD0 ==========(92-93) integra OBD1 ======86-93 integra cable transmission 94-01 hydro transmssion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your car is OBD0. You can easily run the B18B1 as OBD0 in your car if you take the accessories off your old motor (distributor, intake mani, etc.) and use them.

Your tranny will bolt up to the motor just fine. It's only if you were trying to use the newer hydraulic transmission that you would have to convert anything.

the only way your car could be obd1---- is if someone who had the car before you had it swaped and switched out the harness---- Its possible but not likely----- look at the ecu and tell us what code it has on it it will be 3 figures on the side-----
EXAMPLES p72 p75 Pr3 p61-----
