i tried to post this in the general tech section but it wouldnt let me

my question is this i am in the stages of doin a b series swap in my 94 civic ......anyways i want to free up the exhaust but i DO NOT want it to sound like a wet fart goin down the road ......... so other that putting the stock exhaust back on what are my options

let me know
thanx

yea i also have the greddy sp2, i love it but theres not much left out there if you gona be making your own exhaust setup.

you get what you pay for. be prepared to spend at least 350-400 on an exhaust. even more if you want a high quality one that is brand new.

Yep, that sounds like a wet fart compared to my GReddy SP. I can actually hear those exhausts over mine at stop lights.

I agree that the exhausts you mentioned sound much nicer than the Magnaflow muffler. I still think it has to do with the quality and completeness of your setup though. I've got a Magnaflow muffler, Magnaflow resonator, and 2 1/4" mandrel-bent stainless pipe, and it sounds a lot quieter and more subdued than the one in that video. I guess it probably depends on what motor you're pairing it with as well (like a high-revving B16 compared to my LS for example).

But yeah, +1 on the Greddy SP and the Apex'i WS...very nice exhaust systems...

hahahahah. I've got one of those.

I stuffed a brillopad in it, it sounds much better, and I'm below the legal limit of 96dB.

I had a Thermal R&D Classic catback on my old civic (long time ago) with B16A.

Sounded great. Much better than that crap magnaflow.

Best sounding car I ever owned was my SR'd nissan 240sx. It had an Apex N1, car sounded like a dream.
