anybody know if the steering knuckles from the 90-93 integras will work for a b16 swap in an ef? i cant find any ex sedans but plenty of tegs
 
then i will need to use the intermediate shaft too righ? cause it seems the abs axles are the only ones i see that have the female end to attatch the shaft
 
The DX and LX knuckles are the same as the EX knuckles too. Pretty much all EF-ED knuckles will accept B series axles except for the knuckles from a CRX HF or the STD (4 speed) hatchback.

You're gonna have to use the 90-93 integra intermidiate shaft no matter what knuckles you use and the 90-93 integra axles are the same weather they are ABS or not. The ABS ones just have the ABS ring on them...
 
is there a 3rd axle then? cause on ebay they have the b16 swap axles but they have both male ends so thats why i was confused to how they would attatch to the int. shaft. i was thinkin it would go from the pass side to the trans then drivers side to int. shaft the an outer axle to the hub.

:=female end < and > = male end
 
i get it now! the intem. shaft goes into the trans........ i feel dumb now lol i was thinkin the axle slid into the shaft on both ends. thanks for the lil illustration :)

That's actually a wonderful little diagram, but I can't even IMAGINE what kind of misconstrued sexual innuendoes someone else might see, assuming they weren't a part of the conversation already.

if u do buy DA knuckles, u need to get the calipers too. i have a std. hatch and that is what i had too do
 
plenty of teg knuckles in the boneyards round here..not sure the shape that the calipers are in..prolly have to pick up new ones
 
w0rd. i swiped rear discs from a '90 teg but they were so rusty and the seals were in such bad shape I ended up getting remanufactured ones from the acura dealer and gave the junkyard ones as core deposit. they were $450 minus 2 $60 core fees. so i payed like $330...

i'm stalking you around the forums man, lol. i hope your makin good progress, cant wait to see it!

lol.... well i just found a gsr head for the b16 hatch and im havin problems with the p28 ecu in the black hatch..its not reading codes...think i could swap in the p30 that i got for the b16 and see if the ecu is truly the prob? its kind runnin like crap..stallin and idlin funky sometimes
 
is the P28 running a D16 in the black hatch? i dont think a P30 will run a D well, it might tho still.

o i saw you drivin like a week ago in hobart. revin up 1st gear. lol
