GT5 FTW
Just had my EG/DC painted, see what you think. I went with the same Milano red to keep it original. I was going for nice, but not rice, the wheels were an option for 01-03 Civics I'm told (feel free to tell me otherwise) and theres no shiny fart-can back there, just a turbo muffler with 2 resonators to keep it quiet.

P.S: The before pic was taken after it had just rained (obviously) and the paint usually looks worse than that =P in fact the roof was almost completely white with hints of red from fading.

P.S.S: I posted this in Body work already, but that place is a barren wasteland.

Looks great how much did it cost?

My brother knows a guy that works at the best paint shop in town so he did it for $500, thats a quality Honda-paint base with a thick clear. (the paint shop lets him do that kind of stuff on the weekends without paying material cost because they make so much damn money from insurance companies. but thats only for close friends and family of course so don't PM me trying to get your paint done =P) He said the materials were worth about $1k by themselves.

Damn that's expensive just $1,000 in materials? I hope my friends were right when they said you could get a full factory-quality paint job for ~$400-500 right across the border in Mexico.

factory quality could be different in Mexico, plus he had to do a few extra coats because some of the car had this crap paint on it from being repaired/partly repainted.

Also he may have been exaggerating a little lol, hes a cool guy.

$1000 in materials sounds rather high, but regardless, good deal and it looks great.

looks nice - and I like those wheels actually...500 on it isn't too bad really

I still have the steelies, I really like the classic look of them. I may put them back on in the future. Plus they add to the sleeper effect.

take some pics of the car out from under all the trees. try to find a parking lot.

but props on the wheels to. they look great. get a good wheel lock for those though. don't want them stolen.

I parked it under those trees next to my driveway to get the scattered light effect.

oh, well when you are showing off paint quality, it works better in good lighting and without shadows. still decent little car.

I really like the way they look, I'm definitely going to try and find a set for my Civic.

If you do put the steelies back on, I'd be very interested in purchasing the ones on it now...that is if you wanted to sell them of course.
