b16a wiring in 88 crx dx

i followed all the directions on how to change it mpfi and it all seemed to go well,,but it doesnt start..what could be the problem? i hear the fuel pumping the whole time when the key is turned on and it shouldnt do that i dont think..when i take off one of the wires it said to put in there it stops...ive went over the wires again and again and it all seem to be done right to me.
 
wait a sec...

You have to do more than that to get a B16 into a SECOND GEN.

And on that note, you sir are in the wrong forum.

i spliced a wire from a15 to the black yellow wire on the resistor,,like it says,,,i also cant get spark..which forum can help me with this?
 
This is for pre88 cars. The next one down the list is the one frequented by those pros.

But the wiring you need to do in an 88 is more than the DPFI mod.

Hey dude i just finish with the same exact swap i don't know if u r done with wiring cause i could help with some info and pics that could help u alot, so hit me back if u r done or not , there alot of stuff u need to do until u could make the engine run.. laterz

you shouldn't need to run anything from A15 - take the 2 yellow/black wires that went to the 2 DPFI injectors, connect them together and then connect them to the yellow/black on the resistor box - use this DPFI-MPFI guide: FourthGenHatch

make sure you have the ground wires connected at the thermostat housing - wires come out of the harness next to the thermostat housing - have a ring connector on them
