in Linking, the Sapient Dream - LSD: Dream Emulator (PSX-J)

This is possibly the most bizarre game I have ever come across.

"LSD is a video game released in Japan in 1998 for the Sony PlayStation video game console and is one of three products (the others being a music CD and a book) based on a diary of dreams that a staff member at Asmik Ace Entertainment had been keeping for a decade. It has a small cult following and is recognized as being genuinely disturbing at times."

LSD (video game - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Notably, this game is incredibly rare.

i found the footstep audio to be reaaaaally annoying. the music, cool. the random dream factor, sweet and very realistic (surrealistic?). thx for sharing that ;).

stupid thing looks like a windows '95 screen saver.

:lame:

Playstation ONE, you little Xbox360 whippersnapper!

Of course the game looks boring or pointless to most... probably because the point is lost on almost everybody because you're not toting a gun and shooting everything that moves a'la the 360, which I find far more boring than this game here.

The idea is to navigate the dream world, identify and understand the patterns, reasons for change, etc. To what end? Well, grab a controller and find out.

i'd totally play it and i think they did a great job with the dream-feel. but i'd have to mute the damn footsteps. they were insane-making.

That is my video... The music is not from the game, just the annoying footsteps, there is music, but its real quiet, the music you hear is one of my friends beats.

Anyway, the game is just that same thing over and over, with some strange cutscenes between.

Still dig the music, an excellent beat. Got a (legal) mp3 version to pass around?

The game is... odd, but that's what makes it so neat to try and play, and add to the collection :) Bizarre titles like this are always cool finds.

EDIT: Aint tryin to steal your vid :)

I upped the 2 cds. They aren't great, they are Dro's first cds, and they are all just beats.... Some of the tracks are missing too, because the CDs had scratches on em.

dro.part1.rar - Part 1
dro.part2.rar - Part 2

This is not a link to pirated material, so please don't take it down!!!
