So much with a little D
What big different would make the ARP studs on my D16Y8 engine VS the OEM Studs? I am building the bottom end to hold the abuse of 15 + of Boost and a 75 shot; Do the OEM Studs would be able to hold such abuse or I definitely would need the ARP...

Any reply would be appreciated...

If you're building the bottom end, then that means you're going to be taking the head off. Why would you not use ARP studs? It would be dumb not to upgrade while the motor's apart. ARP studs are great insurance against blown head gaskets, especially on boosted applications.

Thanks every one... I was a little concern cause I heard from people on the street
that I could just used OEM, and only needed to make sure to thigh them to the
car specifications...

Anyone who tells you that you should go with oem over arp when it comes to head studs, either is a moron or is building a completely stock motor.

They should be tightened to spec regardless of whether you're building the motor for boost or just replacing the head gasket. Everything should always be torqued to spec, especially when you're rebuilding an engine.
