In my massive pimp new life-style of living in a hotel and getting free food....

It's getting old fast.

My farts have been getting raunchy as hell....

If its the $107 sushi, or the $50+ dollar steaks, or the best tasting cheeseburger from the hotel...eating unlimited food on the companies dollar is getting old...and almost a pain in the ass....literally. I've hit more upscale restaurants than I usually visit in 3 years in less than 3 weeks. And I got another 6 weeks here...

I miss my wifes cooking and pampering.


on the other hand... the yard house, Ra's sushi, Saito, Sushi
Jo , and a shit load of other upscale places are just about a mile from my hotel...and I'm visiting them every day

I went there today and had some J-beer on draft, and a huge steak with some grilled jumbo shrimp....with a side of mashed potat's and green beens... literally awesome from hell.

I used to travel all over the place, and ya, it does get old REAL fast.

When your on business you usually don't get to go anyplace good, so your usually stuck in a hotel eating from a chain restaurant nearby. Even if I went someplace interesting, there wasn't enough time for sightseeing.

I put about 25,000 miles on the company car in five months and I started looking for a new job.

We have one of those in Denver and we go there all the time for late night happy hour on Friday night. Half price appetizers and 3.00-3.50 pints are awesome.

They do, but it's horrible.

The only good pizza place I've found in Florida was outside of Orlando right by the enterance to Disney. There is a Giordano's there which I'm kinda bias towards since I'm from Chicago.

And for the working out and shit... I actually might start because of something that happened. I went to Macy's and bought some swimming trunks so I can enjoy the pool, the hot tub, and start getting a tan....and I bought some shorts for $52 and a size 36 waist....got back to the hotel, put them on...and they didn't fit. so I had toreturn them today and get some 38's.....

Good food and beer is hard to resist since there is nothing else to do.

But I do know that I will pimp a sweet HD LCD TV when I get back, and I'm getting direct TV....since thats whats in the room, and I never knew there was a science channel...in HD!!!.... I have the 19 year old blond D cup cute bartender chick flip it on for me when I'm there.

I know what you mean. I have logged in over 85,000 business miles in a year and a half on the company van. (15k on my truck since taking the job all personal miles). I am purposely holding back what I do and what company its for, for obvious reasons. I hate my job. Its gets old. Being out of state for a week at a time just sucks. Its nice getting the company to pay for meals but I miss home cooked meals, the gf and my family. I also get sick of paying for my condo when sometimes it seems like I am never here or just here to sleep. By the end of the day I am usually so tired I don't want to even go around town. I am not one to drink alone at the bar or even eat alone so its always take out. Driving and staying in hotels gets boring. I am looking forward to getting my shit together for job hunting.

Jockie are you able to go home or have your wife go down to FL? My gf's father is down in FL for Pratt right now. If he was married he would be able to have his wife with him and I believe they would pick up the expense.

She can come down, but she doesn't want to. Dogs to watch at the house, and she hates the heat. Plus she would be bored off her ass since I work at night, and sleep most of the day. Her trip would be on her money, if she came.
