Switching from auto to manual transmission on an 07 accord v6

Can it even be done? economical? worth it?
I have always wanted to have a car with a manual transmission. Unfortunately I didn't actually have the luxury of picking out my car, so I'm stuck with an automatic. Any advise? It's an 07 accord coupe V-6

Plus, with the car being that new, you're probably going to end up paying an assload of money for a transmission and all the other parts you'd need (ECU, pedals, shifter assembly, center console, etc.). Also, no mechanic or dealership is going to want to touch a brand new car that's been hacked up like that.

Just drive it for a few years and then get something else...
