can i change my valve cover to like the b18c valve cover. im gonna eventually rebuild but i hate the look of my valve cover.

Nope won't fit, if you don't like the raised squares, get a 1999+ (I'm pretty sure its 99 and up, you can search) LS valve cover. Some people prefer them, I personally like the raised squares.
The new look started in 96 actually, corresponds with the change to OBD2. The CR-V valve cover is the exact same thing.
No, you can't do this, and why would you want to? That's like putting "Type R" and "VTEC" stickers on a stock Civic DX. If you want a different look, then go with the 96+ valve cover I mentioned above.
The OBX one is allright I guess...
The price on that other one though, is just ridiculous. Whoever polished it did a piss poor job. I don't understand why they skipped the center, it looks stupid like that. I paid $30 shipped for a stock LS valve cover shipped, in perfect shape. There's no way in hell I'd pay $90 for that polished one...

well if i get a laser cut valve cover can i remove that plastic covering on the side of the motor or is that not recomended.

Thx guys. i like the laser cut look but i dont like the polish but if that is all i can find i will either get the polished and get some cam gears or i talked to someone on here about purchasing their GSR head and puting it on my ls block. if i do that then i know i will have more of a selection in valve covers.but while i have your attention, any suggestion on cam gears or does it really matter. i got my taxes back and i can afford it but i want whats good and looks good. i dont wanna get any cheap cam gears and they break but if noone has had any problems out of cheap ones then i will go that way. im paintin my car Burnt orange like the King Ranch F-250's. its hard trying to find a color to go with that under the hood. looks like blue looks the best.thx for the help.

Say what? You're gonna paint your engine bay blue and the rest of the car Burnt orange? Is that what you're saying or are you planning to use blue "loom" to cover every wire, vaccuum line, and hose in your engine bay?

no i mean like blue cam gears and blue fuel rail. im not gonna paint them im talkin about buying the parts in that color. i dont like wire loom. my engine bay is red from were the car was red. im gonna try and paint it black but i dont wanna have to take everything out and then paint the bay orange as well. but i dunno. i have really decided how far im gonna go
