car takes 2 starts???

ok so when i go to start my car i have to turn the key to start it and let it crank over for a sec then turn it all the way off then it will start right up... it does this every time??? any one know what could cause this

im not getting a cel at all either

hmmm i never thought of that well im getting new injectors here soon so i hope that will fix it (kinda) lol i kinda like the problem its like my car has its own little trick start lol

doubt it... how long has it been since you repplaced the dizzy cap and the rotor? plugs and wires too... 75% of the time it's gonna be an electrical problem (generally spaeking) it very well could be the fuel cause it seems like there's a lapse in fuel delivery if it takes that much to start. idk but could it possibly be a bad fuel pump too?

do you let the fuel pump prime before you try to crank it?

agreed...sounds like lack of fuel on start up....try unhooking the fuel regulator hose and see if it starts easier with it off.
