I'm looking to make the following work.
Budget project. Don't tell me get an ODB2 motor cause the money isn't there.

Looking to run OBD1 B16 on an OBD2 ECU/harness.
Can it be done?

Specifically wondering how to handle the crank sensor issue.
Does the OBD1 B16 have any comparable wires to the crank sensor?

will a OBD2a DX ECU run a B16
performance isn't an issue here, we just need this thing to pass the OBD2 Ecu check to pass inspection.
 
I'm sure it will run, but I'm almost positive you're going to have check engine lights.
