Whats a good swap for that, i'm not looking for something to spendy, just something from a junk yard,

there's a B20 sitting at a junkyard here, its in an old prelude, does anyone know if that will fit and what it would take?

any motor you put in it will take 100% custom job with cutting and welding, but the b20 that are in preludes are junk

yes I had one of those preludes and the motor is poor in every sense.

Oh, ok, well thanks for saving me from that,

But i really think a k20 would be bad ass in one of these, but hey, a kid can dream cant he?

but what kind of swap do you guys think would be bad ass?

I had the chance to get a B18, but one of the guys i know already snagged it for $100.

I'm pretty sure a K20 won't fit in that car but I'm not sure it has been attempted. I think it is to tall. You would have no hood, or 0" of clearance, maybe both?

it actually did fit, but i cant remember where i saw it at, but it was freakin amazing. and it had the PERFECT amount of space. and it was just crammed in there, but it looked so perrty

the k20a has already been put in a cvcc before and it was crazy fast with the k being stock, but it cost hela money to get one in there, but any swap you do will cost the same as far as actually putting it in there with all the custom fab cutting ect ect

my grandma still has a running first gen civic with 90k mil on it lol she only goes to corner store for cigs in it lol it's bad-ass

i almost picked up a 1971 n600 and i planned on putting a hayabusa 1300cc motor in it and switching it to rear wheel... the trans axle alone would have been 2 g's to custom fit the 6 speed that comes with the motor... that would have been a 8000 dollar swap in parts alone...

you want to what? huh? whaaaa?

Nevermind.

its cool i never expect people to understand but i have seen videos of hayabusa cars and they are something else...
i know what you meant the first time i read it, i guess alot off ppl dont know that the 600s all had motorcycle motors in them

I've never heard of swapping motorcycle motors into a car chassis ever. Only into one of those custom buggy things with 4 wheels that go off road. That is it. weird. but hey, sound like a plan if that is what you want to do. And since its a 1st gen civic, it should fit without a problem. Though you will still run the problem of custom fabing everything to fit and work in it. :(
