shift linkage
axles from a 1990 integra
cable tranny
pr4 ecu(if staying obd0)

Did he not just give you a list? Seriously dude, try searching for some of this shit. It's only been posted about a bazillion times. Do some research first, and then, if you still have specific questions, ask us. Don't expect somebody to just sit here and write out a complete "how to swap a B18 into an EF" manual for you...

dud i got it man im just anserwing his question that do a little reaserch im just saying that i just want to make sure thats all i need i just want to know which one is better to use cause i have a lot of friends giving different opinion for swapping LS its just too confusing i just got my LS today and im ready to put it in and i already did do a research. now i have question which one is better to use obd0 or obd1 i have a friend telling me stick with the obd0 if im going to go all motor but i want to gain some HP on LS with out boosting it up

Your friend doesn't know shit. OBD1 is much better for tuning, regardless of whether you want to boost or stay N/A. Your car is wired for OBD0 though, so you're either gonna have to convert the car to OBD1 or convert the motor to OBD0.

Whichever way you decide to go, Rywire can make a custom harness for you. Check them out: Rywire - Online Store

honestly do you know what your doing???
are you electrivally inclined and mechanically inclined???

cuz most people that start swaps and have no idea what they are doing come back here selling unfinished shit or asking why the car wont run correctly(yes i WAS one of those people)

you need to know exactly what your doing before you do anything

and i would stick with obd0 its easier for you to work with...
but obd1 has far more tuning capability

i know i little bit about fixing cars but not that much and this is the first time im gona swap my engine and also the reason im asking you guys cause i know that my friend doesnt know anything thats why im asking you guys and yea im just starting my project i just got my LS today tho

Does this swap need to be done tomorrow? If not, slow down and take some time to learn a few things. "A research" isn't going to do anything for you. I spent almost a year doing research before I started my first build.

nah actually i had start researching last year when i got it the first day but sometimes it confuse me cause a lot of people saying you should put this instead of this then other person will say dont listen to them you should put this i research them but im not a mechanic i know a little bit so im asking a lot of people which one is really the best for my ef im really new at swapping engines rebuilding a d series is easy for me but swapping a b series im realy having trouble like should i use the ls engine mount or buy a new d series engine mount stuff like that for me i want to get the ls engine mount but some of my friends saying i should just buy new d series engine mount cause d series engine mount is not gonna fit on b series rite im used to d series not b series

yes thats why i said d series engine mount wont work on b series and before i didnt have that much time searching cause im always in the ambulance 8 hours a day i barely go on but now im not volunteering no more i have more time to do a research on swapping. thanks for the advice tho

yeah 8 hours work from 7 to 3 then i have school after that im in college so i dont have that time to go on! but now im out of volunteer for a while cause i want to start my project on ef but yea ill do more research man thanks for the advice man

You've got alot of issues in your hand....First of all, do you know how to take out the engine..? everything is vis-versa... with little modifications....only if you research more, which probably your catagories in what your looking for isnt specific enough...Or Learn As You Go make mistake and learn from it....Thats how I did it...perfection next time around...! GL

ok if you search for my thread on ls into ef..you will find some helpful info...
but basically you need to order a mount kit that will allow you to put a bseries into and EF....its a "conversion kit"(ebay has hasports, place racing, avid etc.)
next you will need axles from a 90 integra..you will need to take the dust shields off of your hubs.
you will also need to buy a shift linkage that will allow the bseries into the EF..(ebay has hasport linkages for fairly cheap)
your car is an si so the wiring harness will work
you will now need a pr4 ecu(once again ebay has tons of them, and DONT get a chipped ecu,the map wont be right for your car)
thats basically the stuuff you need...
theny you take your motor out,put a dent on the drivers framerail for the alternator pulley, bend the lip down on the rear crossmember for the rear bracket.and the motor should go in with a little convincing...

again if you need help go on my thread https://hondaswap.com/hybrid-ed-ef-da/ls-already-covered-107521/

none taken...but yea it sux rushing through not knowing what to do,,i am selling the motor just cuz im swapping a b18

yeah im slowing it down since i saw how much the costs of the parts

I'm planning the same swap and they are right, if you just spend a little time looking around you will find the answers. If you want step by step this is about as good as you will get. http://projectcrx.wordpress.com/civic-crx-ef/ls-swap-109203/. Try that if it doesn't work just search project crx. There is a complete list in the b18a1 swap article right down to the tools you need. Once you read and understand that and have everything you need start the project. Don't forget nothing is perfect you will most likely run into problems, then that is when this sight comes to the rescue you will have a more legit question to ask with 'some' knowledge behind it.

Hey guys, I'm coincidentally an avid Honda-Swap-er as well. Any questions that come up, theoretical or otherwise, feel free to let me know. In total, I spent around $1200 on the swap (including the engine).

If you happen to visit my site (mentioned by pappaj, my thanks go to you), please leave a comment or two. It's good to know that my writeups are doing some good, and having suggestions is invaluable.

Thanks again, and keep the swaps going!

i spent 300 on my motor/tranny/axles then i spent 100 on mounts, so basically 400$ on my whole swap, only time consuming part was going from the DX wiring to MPFI.
