I know this has proballly already has been answered but I need some serious help expert help.

Im wanting to buy a Del sol and i want to put a K series motor in it prob the k20a2 with a supercharger. I want to know if any of you know how hard this swap is cuz im not that experinced but i can get experienced help. i want to know wut mods i have to do to get this engine in?

I am also considering the b16a Sir II it makes 170 hp i know i can change the internals and get more but i dont want to be slow and dont want to get a turbo and put throw alot of money away ( I know the pros and cons of turbos but i want a SC) So i want to know if there is a super charger out for this motor is its intake diferent from the regular b16a?

And if it was you wut motor would you put in there with a SC to make the most power my budget is 7k but i can always put more into it that is just wut i will have.

well, lets put it this way.. a k20 swap alone will run about $10k seeing that you probably wont be able to do the work yourself..

i'd go with a b18c (GSR) swap
 
b18c gsr makes 180hp .. good for all motor or FI
 
Turbos are cheap, a lot cheaper then a supercharger and have more potential and will in the long run make more power.

But if you insist on an SC, Jackson Racing makes a SC kit.

Yea i know turbo makes the most power less strain on engine all that and i would rather have a turbo more but i dont wan2 have to work on it all the time and lose a bunch of money but if i do it right it shouldnt be bad idk wut im gunna do

And SC for the b18?

I would also have to say go GSR swap, and turbo it, or throw a supercharger on it. But if you insist on K20, then go for it and good luck. I'm not sure how hard the swap is, but a Hasport mount kit would be a good start, and Hasport has axles and shift linkage too i believe, and then just get some good engine management. But yea, K20 would probably be the most expensive.

Yes i know but i cant find one that says anything about a k swap into a del sol that actually answers my questions
