So I found these on Craigslist for $350. The guy lived near me and wanted to meet me the same day. Went and picked them up, they're in very good shape. The front passenger seat is like new. The rear seats are like new. The driver's seat has a little crack in the middle of the seat part but that isn't that big of a deal.

I found that the fronts seats were very easy to put in..Other than the bolt that goes in the back right corner of the driver's seat mount and the bolt for the back left corner of the passenger seat mount are just a little too short. So I had to go pick some up at Schucks since I didn't have any lying around that were long enough. The back seats weren't that big of a deal to get in. The little hooks that keep the seat portion in place weren't the right shape so I had to bend them with pliers to get them to fit. Other than that it was pretty simple. Probably installation time of 2 hours including the trip to get the bolts.

I'll take pictures tomorrow when it's light out and then post them.

Ha yea, neither would I, but seeing as swapping the whole interior for a black one was out of the question I went with tan seats. I thought it would look kinda dumb if they were black. Besides hardly anyone else has the full brown interior with leather like mine. So that makes me feel more original :p

Clean car. Very Nice

Thanks

they look good in there .. i'm just not a fan of tan interior

Lol, I suppose everyone has their own personal preferences. Thanks for saying they look good in there at least though.

Oh and I have a question, is there any good way to get rid of the smoky smell the seats have? I didn't smell it when I first bought them cause we made the deal outside and it was windy out.

looks good... now lose some ride height and get some proper wheels on there

I know, I know. I'm still trying to find wheels, I was thinking about getting some Si wheels until I found out how much they weighed. Those things are heavy. I'd really like to get some Volk TE37's, those are nice and light, but they are really expensive. I'm still looking on that WheelWeights.net site until I can find some that are fairly light and within my budget.

As for suspension, I have another thread going and now I know what I'm going to get. I decided against just spending the money right out of my account for the coilovers and front upper strut bar. So I'm just going to save up and in two or three months I should have enough cash to get them.

EDIT: Does anyone think I should black out my license plate number in the pictures? I made sure there were no addresses visible, but license plate number really isn't that important is it?

That car looks almost new. What size wheel are you looking to get? Falken, Konig, and 5Zigen make some fairly light wheels.

I'm looking to get some 15s. I just want to get something that looks better than what I have now, and weighs less. I was thinking bronze, black, or maybe silver. Maybe some Rota's (15 inch Slipstreams are only 12ishlbs I believe), unless I can find some light weight rims for a good deal. In an ideal world I could find some Spoon SW 388s for $500 for a full set, but that isn't going to happen.

I'm more concerned about finding the correct tires though. So many choices.

if you don mind going a size smaller you can get the hx rims for relatively cheap and they would look good and are light as hell.

you have a 4-dr w/ a single cam. .. its already a heavy bitch w/ no power, 3 lbs per wheel isnt gonna make much difference

A B18C1 will be going in it by the end of summer...

well, like said.. they'll be fine.. and if you want something different you could probably trade them for Rotas

Whats the mileage on the car now? What is the duck tape on the door jamb for?

Ha I forgot that was there, that's just so that when I vacuum out the inside, I can have music playing without that stupid beeping noise.

Oh and it has 145k miles on it.

Yea you're right, but still I can dream about getting Spoon SW 388s can't I? Even if they are way overpriced. I say I want to get something lighter, but I'll probably end up getting some Si wheels, GSR blades, LS webs, or fat fives. Those rims are usually quite reasonably priced and they look nice too.
