Hey everyone im writing this inquiry in to find out if any of you have used carbonfiber parts on your vehicle and what luck u have had i bought a 1992 civic hatch with a ek front end conversion and one of the fenders has quite a few dents. Im really considering purchasing Carbonfiber bumper hood and fenders im looking at 1850 with shipping for it all plus hid halp head lights. Will i need to cut into the radiator support or anything like that to make this work

The only CF I'd put on my ride is an oem style CF hood. Really looks good on white/red/yellow IMO.

For the cutting I wouldn't know, why do you want an ek front? Go for the S14 :D. J/k, what I'd rather do but do what ya want.

Nah, B20 Vtec sucking? I don't think so don't listen to this bunghole :p.

Better than my D15B Vtec powerplant. Post pics of the ride I wanna see.

Chris u suck hahahah

Not bad...but the front end conversion looks goofy they couldn't make a hood to fit the whole headlight? Other than that nice body kit and wing, and I like the b20 vtec :).

Thats a cover over the headlight lol it fits fine

Like shit. But it'd probably be lighter :D.

i'd do the carbon fiber, but i'd paint it black. :)

+1, take off the goofy headlight thing.

and if you go with carbon fiber, you can get any look you want. and you wont have to cut a damn thing because it should mount up in the same places as the stock bumper. carbon fiber is limitless in molding; almost.

Ok the goofy head light thing will be gone asap because im putting in halos and the wing ill consider getting rid of

Don't change the look of your car just because someone else doesn't like it. If you're gonna take that wing off and the headlight covers, do it because you want to.

I guarantee you will be called a ricer by some people just for driving a Civic. If you like it then keep it.

Dont you have to custom make (eg + ek fender) fenders when doing that front end conversion. If so then the carbon fenders will not match up.

carbon fiber is custom y0. you can get any look you want and have it made to mount up to what ever you need. it's not a fixed, factory part.

I'm still trying to find some carbon fiber mirrors for my 1992 Civic sedan. Can't find them anywhere.

fran is going back to an EG front end.

the fenders are too different for them to be welded together. chances are his radiator support has been welded on from an EK.

I can either for eg front end and change the radiator support or keep it ek and just replace the fenders what do u think
