Hey all, I'm parting out my Mini-Me swap and going to a full on B
I'm located in Ottawa IL, 61350, and my email is dasfinc@hotmail.com

I have a Fresh D16Y8 head, 3 angle valve job, mill, and pressure test it to make sure everything was clean and new.

The head has been on my D15B8 block for a few months, but the car has hardly been driven *I didn't torque my headstuds down enough and the headgasket let go right away*, I have the paperwork to show the head was redone, and its in great shape, it also comes with an AEM Tru-Time adj. Cam gear, Valve cover, Vtec Solenoid, Water neck, and OBD1 Dizzy!!!

WITH

a FULL D16Y8 intake manifold with a fuel rail, injectors, throttlebody, and adjustable FPR. I had this on the head mentioned above, this is a Manual intake manifold so its what you'd need to do a intake manifold swap on a D16A6 or Z6, and it comes with EVERYTHING listed above, FULL manifold!

$250 picked up or delivered with 40 miles of 61350!!! (I spent $250 on the valve work, mill, and pressure test alone, I will not take less as this is a full head with Vtec solenoid and valve cover and an adj. cam gear)
*Here is a picture of it before it was on my motor*

I'll even throw in a aftermarket Tri-Y Header!!!

This is EVERYTHING you need to slap this onto your block minus the studs (Or if you have a OBD2 car a different Dizzy)

I can be reached at Dasfinc@hotmail.com

assuming you guys are in the continental US, I will ship it for $65, so $315 total price including shipping.

I pulled the head off today, and it still looks the same as the pictures, just a little dirty from it running for the short period of time that it did.

I am paypal ready/verified.

How did you get an OBD1 dizzy on that head? *raises eyebrow* Did you buy a different dizzy or did you modify the OBD2 it came with? Please let me know as I was not aware one could just change out the dizzy's without having to at least "cut one of the ears" off and what have you. Thanks.

D15B8/D15B7 Dizzys bolt right onto D16Y8 heads with no modification of the ears required. D16Z6 dizzys have a different ear pattern from pretty much all other D-series heads.

Some people may argue that you need a Vtec dizzy, but there are two things regarding that:

1: OBD2 dizzys are completely different animal, so the dizzys are differently designed obviously

2: I had my D15B8 dizzy on my Y8 head turn and pull strong up to my 7800RPM redline with the Vtec cross-over at 5K (no CEL's either) so unless my dizzy was magical it worked just fine.

Thank you. :D

No prob!

Check my sig *assuming the link works* for my D15B8/D16Y8 write-up for the low-down on using a OBD2 head with an OBD1 harness/block.

Thank you very much once again. As soon as I find it, I will read it. I threw in a rep point as a bonus for the kindness and help. :D

Thank you! Very kind of you, now find me a cheap turbo kit for my B18 and we'll call it even ;-).

Sadly I'm also a member of Honda-Tech and wish the hondaswap boards were more active since Honda-Tech is filled with too many idiots and/or asshats to get any USEFUL information out of so I try to share whatever I've learned with PICTURES and PROOF instead of just 'hearsay' like the hondaworld is filled with along with about 100 metric tons of mis-information.

*my favorite mis-information so far was you that can use Civic motor mounts for the B18B1 swap, I got my B18B1 with ALL its mounts, and looked and discovered the ONLY 2 mounts on the civic that are re-useable (out of the 5 mounts/stabilizers D/B series engines have) are the MOUNT (not the bracket that connects the motor TO the mount) but just the MOUNT for the rear T-brace, and the TOP transmission mount, every other mount/bracket HAS to be integra*

the 2 other boards I like alot but are low-traffic are D-series.org and www.homemadeturbo . Both have lots of knowledgeable people and a low # of idiots/assholes.

You have to love the asshats. I know I do. *rolls left eye* I do use the other boards for research as I try to get as much information from as many sources as I can. That doesn't mean that I just go by what they say though.

Here's an example:

Before posting my very first thread on here I researched on what I needed for roughly six months. I would read people's post, then look up what they said to see if it really did match up to other things I found. After a VERY long time, I found a few people on this site, one of which is Blanco, who REALLY know their stuff and aren't just blowing smoke up your ass.

It's sad to say that when knowledgeable people like him try to give FACTUAL advice that has been proven time and time again, people STILL choose to ignore it. It makes me laugh at times how people will blow other reliable sources of advice off, just to do what they wanted to do in the first place. Why even ask? Feel free to go ahead and blow up your engine, as Blanco would say, instead of listening to facts and reason.

another good name to know is "MistaBone" who is basically the D-series transmission GOD, but is only on a D-series and HMT.
