i'm trying to put in a water temp gauge in my 90 civic si and i cant find where the hose bolts in at....does anyone know where to do this at?

just out of curiosity, why are you installing a water temp gauge? if it is a stock car, it will only draw people to thinking it is worth stealing.

well i'm slowly working to build it so i'm trying to start small and go big.....i try not to go too big too fast after i messed up my crx's wiring

its either on one of the waternecks or the side of the head i believe,,

kinda funny how people ask questions to only get flack....i havent installed mine yet if i ind the hole i will let you know man.... some people get rid of there gauge clusters and go to all gauges so it makes sence to use one....

Understandable, but do you really need a water temp gauge? Unless you're motor's built and/or boosted, then a bunch of auxiliary gauges really aren't necessary, and like others said, they give thieves a reason to think your car might be worth jacking.

Rather than just spending money on random gauges, a better idea would be to plan out exactly what you want to accomplish with your car, and then start working towards that.

Just let him rice it out. He will learn eventually. If that is what he likes and it makes him happy, fuck it. We all had our days, let him have his.

As for where you would mount the hose, it usually gets mounted somewhere near the water-neck outlet near the thermostat. It also depends on if it came with an adapter or not but it should usually feed from the upper radiator hose area near the engine block.
