Whats the best exhaust to buy?

muffler shop 2" piping w/ choice of muffler
 
greddy sp2, for a real catback or like the others say muffler shop. with a type r muffler or something
 
Apexi World Sport 2. its whats on my car and i LOVE it. nice a quiet driving around, then when you mash it that bad boy opens up and SCREAMS!

but ya.. muffler shop is good, cheap and you can put anything on it :D

but heres the deal :mellow:

I recent picked up a "full" exhaust system, as I was planning on going TURBO, which is no longer going to happen, do to the ever increasing gas prices, and the fact I get around 35-38mpg on 87 right now.

It consists of a test pipe and a "cat back". The only problem is the test pipe is special for the exhaust and will not work with any other exhaust, and oh yea, the exhaust is 3" piping.

So I have 2 choices. Either use the test pipe and a 3" "cat back" or trade it for a another exhaust, but run stock cat, as I doubt I will mess with this in the future.

Emissions NOT withstanding, whats my best option. My only mods are Intake/Header.
 
I have the WS uni apexi 2.5 inch cat back. It is quite and got a deep tone when on the gas.
 
i change exhausts like i change my clothes lol but right now i have a fujistibo i think thats how you spell it but neways it flows real smooth and sounds awesome when you stand on it on the highway:D
 
I would say go muffler shop. Or if you can weld yourself buy the bends take off your old stock exhaust and do a mock up of the exhaust weld it up with your choice of muffler and weld the hangers on it, and buy a high flow cat to go with it weld that thing on and bolt it up and enjoy the cheap performance.
