Hello piecing together a turbo kit for a 1997ek with a b16a OBD2a in it. Ive searched and asked but for the tuning every one say chrome, hondata etc etc all the thing that requires you to revert back to OBD1.

Not trying to be stubborn but i dont want to revert back to obd1 i want to stay obd2 for legal reasons here in texas. Is there anyway i can have the obd2a tuned, or anychips, programs piggy backs that i could use for tuning?

For example wat about the greddy e-manage? apexi VAFC? etc

vafc or fmu with a fpr, but there not the safest,

I would recommend getting a obd2a to obd1 wiring harness, - boomslangs the best but they cost $75, also a chipped obd1 p28 I sold one last week on ebay for $100

when you get tuned you can get your codes turned off, I had the same issue your worried about emissions,

Aem ems, its a standalone and is pretty pricey but it is one of the best systems out and is offered in obd2a and b.
thanks aem ems is like 700 bux but that will due. i decided to get a greddy turbo kit, i guess ill either scrap the greddy emanage thats come with it, or let the guy that working on it decide.
thanx for the help

good answer here! Or get a Hondata S300 which essentially uses a OBD1 ecu but is fully tuneable. Try LocashRacing.com for a good price on one. My shop is right next to his and he has great deasl on them. I bought mine from him! :)
