well if its just the muffler it will almost give you no power gains at all, but to answer your question i would have it welded on.

:werd: on both points...

If it's just a muffler, it's not gonna do much of anything but make noise. If you have some funding, I'd get all the piping from the cat converter back replaced with something a little bigger, probably 2.25" for your application.

And yes, weld it on. If you clamp it nice and tight, it probably won't fall off, but why take the chance when you can just permanently attach it?

flowmaster 60 series works better for power it ads more torque but magnaflow sounds and looks better but i like my apex i

It's a frickin muffler... Put it on however you want but welding would of course be the best.

Dont wanna damage the chrome finish. I'd just duct tape it on.

In this case he's right, but I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock into what this guy says. From looking at some of his other posts it's pretty plain to see that he's a fucktard...

clamp it if you want exhaust leak but weld it if you want it on good and for the chrome part grind down the edge that your going to weld and it will be fine (well that is if its chrome plated)

thew funny thing is now i dont know if its even what i want on my car. its and e gay special and id like to do more shopping research b4 i put one on. anyone know any good sites where they have grabed a good muffler or do you have any advice if i was to grab a new one?

flowmasters and magnaflows sound really good on a honda for a universal muffler. that way you can pick any exhaust tip you want so it will look any way you want it to as well.

IMO, thats the best answer i think you can get to be honest. thats what i would do if i was in your shoes.

but if you wanna grab a full catback kit that will last and sound really good, i bought an Apex-I World Sport 2 off ebay for $425 shipped brand new it sounds SOOOOOOO GOOD!
