whats up everyone.
I'm getting close to swapping the motor here in the next month or so, just need head work done and were ready to roll. I've included pics of car and random stuff. motor is an hr away, no pics of motor yet. But heres my layout.
I have a GSR bored to 84mm, Darton Sleeves, JE pistons 9:1, Eagle rods, Eagle Crank, balanced, Crower cams, Crower dual springs and ti retainers, ARP head studs, Cometic gaskets and seal replacement (head gasket incuded),

coming soon after motor is swapped and properly broke in.
Garret turbo maybe gt3076r, edelbrock intake, hondata tune, paint job maybe Si Blue, upgraded fuel system RC injectors walbro fuel pump. too much to list.

Just waiting on the gaskets then I'll run to the shop and give my machinist everything he needs to finish up. I will get pics of the motor trust me, in a couple of days

bah, stupid work filter. i'll check pics later.

don't do si blue. people will think it's an SI and steal it. keep it oem as much as possible.

yea i read a census that civics are one of the most stolen vehicles in america.
iv'e pondered on installing a fuel shut off and hiding it to where they cant find it so if someone does try to steal they wont make it out of my drive way or parking lot. security system is a yes, but dont know what to get, its too early for that. the dummy that trys to steal under the hood better be able to outrun my me and gun.

they use tow trucks these days. and a gun is dumb. see other threads, this has been covered many times.

civics are pretty low on the list these days. integras, camrys, corollas, escalades are all higher.

Yea it's pretty hardcore that they use tow trucks. I'm glad that I don't live in a big city. I live in a fairly rural area, in a cul-de-sac, where all the neighbors know each other. It would suck so bad to wake up one morning and find that your car is gone.

Why do they steal Camry's/Corrolas? I understand Integras and Escalades. But what do they do with Camry's/Corrolas though? Just strip them and sell them as parts?

probably. man I would be pissed if someone tried to steal my car. but I wouldn't bring a gun that shit will just end up puttin bullet holes in your car, and your ass in jail. I can deal with it with my fists and my tire iron if it comes to that.

pretty much. body panels, interior. shit like dizzy's cost $200. oem parts are spendy.

Hey man let me know how those crower valve springs and cams work out for you?
i want to know because im interested in getting a set for a greddy kit.
