Okay so, I live in Maine and use my poor car all year round 95DelSolSI. Recently I've noticed that when I turn, usually right, there is a noise on the drivers side, it sounds almost like the tire is rubbing against something and it's very concerning. I know that my car is a little bit out of alignment could this be causing it though? I'm concerned that from all the water on the roads some might have gotten into one of the boots, does it sound like it could be that at all?
The only other way I can describe the sound is like a "fwoop fwoop fwoop" :D

Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated!

do you have aftermarket wheels/tires/suspension?

sounds like a bad axle if everything is stock.

sounds more like a bad union in the drive shaft... specially if it's only happening when he turns. replace the shaft, it's only like 50 to 60 bucks for a re-man cv shaft. ten bucks says that's your problem.:D

alot of times an axle will make a poping noise if it is a little poping noise change the shaft out. If it is not poping and making a diff noise when you turn more than likly its your wheel bearing. If you know its out of alignment take it to a shop and tell them about the noise and see what they have to say. but its one or the other from the sound of it.

My guess is it is a wheel bearing.

Does it do it only when you turn the one way and do you have to have the wheel all the way to the right?

If it is happening when you are cruising and not just when you are trying to park the car, and if it sounds more like a rubbing then a poppinng then I'd assume it is a wheel bearing.

axle or wheel bearing

X2 on the wheel bearing. Youcan tell if it's a wheel bearing by turngin the wheel when it makes the noise. it essentially puts a load on the bearing and shuts it up until you straighten it out. If it is the wheel bearing you'll have to take the hub off and get the old one off which is not really fun and then press the new bearing on.
