i have a z6 head on a b7 block..i didnt do nothing for high compression..would the motor handle boost lets say on a t3/t4..and if so how much?

If you don't know then it is safe to say no.

Do some research and see if other people boosted on that bottom end. We also don't know what kind of shape your engine is in either.

Even a D15?? I wouldn't push a d15 rods more than 160whp personally but if Blanco says 180 is safe then I'd go with that but still do some research and find out what other people have for a setup.

Hmm... So you plan on turboing a mine? What kind of mines are we talking here land mines? I would try looking in the FAQs to see if this has ever been done.

Depending on the condition of the motor, I would go for around 200 hp. Should be reliable and a decent amount of power for a DD.

Not on a D15 it won't be reliable. They have toothpicks for rods. Maybe a D16 but not a D15B7.

small amounts of boost give you plenty of power with the proper tune. personally, i'd stay within the 160 to 170 range. no higher or you WILL snap rods.

yay, my shop just turboed a D17 of all things and even at 5.5 psi of boost it went to 175 whp up from 95. 5.5 psi is nothing! But those friggin' D17's have plastic intake manifolds which scare the bujesus out of me! lol 180 HP sounds good on a D15 tho, I'd get the Z6 bottom and call it good.
