who likes butter on my PBJ sandwiches? try it out, let me know what you think. make a PBJ, but put butter on the bread before the peanut butter and jelly. not only does it keep the jelly from soaking through the bread, i think it tastes better.

i think it just takes like butter. you don't really need the peanut butter if you do.

My mom always said that it made the peanut butter go on smoother instead of ripping the bread. Of course, this was before peanut butter became peanut paste. I don't even buy that shit anymore, I only eat freshly ground peanut butter.

Same as everyone said above, my dad, grandpa always do that when they make pband j sandwiches for me. I haven't had one in probably a year, but everytime we golf my grandpa makes us about 4-5 sandwiches each like that.
