I now figured out my B18A bottom end with B16 pistons and a GSR head was running 12.43 to 1 compression. Angry little engine!

idk man but I'll check it out for you when I have more time and see what I can turn up.

and god am i doing something wrong lol im trying to put in the specs of a d15b vtec with p29 pistons and its telling me i have 15.:1 compression lol

i was putting stock d15b every thing but the p29 pistons

The deck height and rods are the same as D16 blocks. If you use the shorter D15 crank, which is actually correct, you get 8.75:1.
god thats sucks, with that combo the p29 pistons perty much have no effect lol,

B18 LS with P30 pistons gives 11.67 to 1. Is that safe to run on 93 octane fuel? I do not think so. But if someone is doing it safely let me know.
I am new at the Honda builds. Used to small block chevys.

I'll tell the jokes around here, k? :)

? hmmmm.......why did the chicken cross the road? lol

I ran this 12.43:1 engine on 91 octane safely(dyno tuned) 91 octane is all we can get around here in Arizona, not like being back east.
