Doin work!!!
I know this must seem like a dumbass question, but does anyone know the Size and threadpitch on the shifter of a 95 Accord man trans? I'm trying to order a diff shift knob and they need to know size and pitch. Any help would be appreciated

Yea... I know right. The company I'm trying to order it from deals mostly in classic cars, so when I asked if it would fit my Cord they were like.......Uhhhhh, we need that thread. I thought surely it wouldn't be that big of a deal...

Called Honda. They said they could order me a new knob, but did not have anything to tell them specifics. Dam.

what are you trying to buy? and why are you buying from a classic car company? pic?

If I had a metric tap and die set that would do it. I hate living in the middle of nowhere!!!

Its from the company Gennie Shifter. They have some sweet ass blown glass knobs.Gennie Shifter. My leather knob is about shot and I didn't want a cheap ass Ebay knob. Wanted something a little different

i see. i have seen some pretty cool jdm shift knobs that are glass. some look like big dildos though. try doing a search and see if you find something that looks similar.

my suggestion, drive it up to autozone and just try fitting different size nuts on it!

how much easier can it be?

I think it is 10mm x 1.5 thread pattern, I would go to napa or something and buy a couple nuts just to check.

take your shiftknob into the hardware store and find a bolt that threads in without cross threading, there's your thread and pitch written on the bin it came out of.
