Do you cuss at all? cause if you do then you are ignorant as well. Using cuss words to insult someone or just cussing in general is ignorance. I am not saying that I don't cuss cause I do. I am also not claiming to be better than anyone else I am just pointing out that people aren't as touchy as they once were. What about how people drop n-bombs all the time but it doesn't bother black people nearly as much as it used to. Using a word for something other than its definition deadens the original meaning and makes people more accepting of the word so its no longer offensive. Like the word. I have heard homosexual people say the word gay as dumb before.

That's funny because the gay guys I know use gay for stupid and homosexual when speaking about themselves or other homosexual.

I didn't mean to start a gay argument.....
That's my experience as well. I know gay people and they're constantly tossing that word around to refer to a variety of things (acting stupid, being annoying, etc.).
I guess it just depends on the person...

I would think the acceptance of the word gay would largely depend on the persons age.
I think the older they are the more offense they would take to it simply because it was an extremely derogatory word.
