Hi. This is my first post at this forum and I was hoping that someone here could give me some info on how to swap my stock B18B for another B18B. It's coming out of my 1996 Integra SE. The only aftermarket part in there is an intake. WHat I want to know specifically is how to do it, what parts I need, what tools I need, and what parts I need to keep from my original engine to keep it legal in California. Links to other forums with this info already posted are welcome.

You should buy a service manual. It'll tell you exactly what you need to do.

Get a good service manual, it will walk you through the process.

Seriously though, as long as the engine is from the same year or newer than the current one, you shouldn't have to change anything to keep it legal. Just drop it in and go...

What if the engine I'm getting is from Japan? No need to change anything out?
