Today i bought a cold air intake for my 1992 honda accord. ive never installed a cold air intake therefore im completely baffled on the process.... can someone please help me thank you. i cannot find anything on google for installation on my 92 accord
 
ok so i decided to tackle trying to put it on..... And well i got all the hoses off and what not but the pieces that are with the cold air intake are either too big or too small and wont fit on the throttle body correctly. the too big one i went to advanced and bought better clamps in hopes of tightening it to stay on. the cold air intake is a APC cold air intake. can someone please help me
 
no, i try and stay away from APC :)

it's too easy. google or site search it. just basicly some pipes. taking the stock box off is probably harder than putting that on

That's 90% of the problem right there. APC is the king of crappy, extremely low-quality car performance parts, so it's no wonder that your shit isn't fitting very well. Did you know that they went out of business?
 
no i didnt? so noone is able to help me =[ i really dont want to take it back due to the fact i cant buy anything else due to shortage of cash. =[ can someone please try to help me
 
Yeah it shouldn't really be that hard. Just remove all parts of the factory intake system (including the black plastic resonator pieces that go down into the fenderwell) and install the new intake pipe in it's place. Use your hose clamps to attach it to the throttle body and to attach the pieces together. You may have to mess with the vacuum hoses a bit to get everything to work correctly. Also, you may have to widen the hole in the bottom of the bay where the intake pipe exits down into the fender well a little bit. I'd probably use a dremel or Sawzall for that, if you have access to them.

if u go back to the parts store u can pick up little rubber adapters, if they dont have them take a look at the universal cone filters they got, cause theres usually some in the package.
